Payment for the whole group can be made at once or you can have your guests contact the office to pay for their reservations. Remind your guest to mention you as their Table Host so we can seat them properly.

How do I bid on items?
When you arrive, just look for the check-in terminals near the ballroom. Here, you will check-in and receive a catalog with descriptions of all the silent and live items available for bidding as well as a listing of the different raffles available for the evening. Your bid number will be on the back of the catalog. This is your key to winning fabulous prizes!
During the Silent auction you will write that number legibly on the bid sheets for the items you want and watch the fun begin!
During the Live auction there will be a larger bid number at your table. When it comes time to bid on live auction items, simply stretch your arm high in the air. A spotter will make sure the auctioneer sees you. The live auction moves fast, so be sure to read through your program and decide what items you want to bid on ahead of time.
How do I check-out at the end of the evening?
Excellent question! We have a brand new check out procedure that will make it so much easier for you to gather your winnings at the end of the evening.
If you have a Credit Card on file one of our staff members will deliver an envelope with yellow receipts for winning silent and live items, raffle, wine and centerpiece purchases once the auction is finished. You may proceed directly to the "Item Pick-Up" (aka the The Renaissance Room where the Silent Auction was held) to retrieve your winnings.
If you choose to pay with cash or check or you have an item that you are splitting with other bidders, you will need to visit the cashier table to claim your envelope and arrange payment and divide charges for packages. You can then visit the pick-up area to claim your winnings.
We will NOT run charges to your credit card the evening of the auction. All bids and purchases will be reviewed after the event to ensure correct billing. Charges will be run on Monday, February 13th and receipts will be emailed or sent in the mail.
What should I wear?
This is the "Evening of Elegance," so feel free to take advantage of the opportunity to dress a little fancy for the evening! The men often wear sport coats with/or without ties. It's not out of the question to see a few tuxedos throughout the crowd too. The ladies usually wear cocktails dresses or evening attire.
If dressing up isn't your favorite thing to do, you'll not be turned away for wearing casual clothing. All we ask is that you come wearing a smile and ready to have a good time!
Where does my money go?
Walla Walla Community Hospice provides comprehensive, compassionate care for patients at the end of life throughout Walla Walla, Columbia and northeast Umatilla counties. Care is given by registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplains, patient volunteers, and others as needed. All medications and durable medical equipment are provided. No patient is ever denied services for financial reasons. We also provide grief and bereavement counseling and support at no charge to the communities we serve, and we sponsor Camp Amanda and support groups for grieving children. Without the support of local businesses, individuals, and organizations through donations and fundraising events, we would not be able to meet these needs.
